Nikiti — A Summer House That Floats

A summer house in Halkidiki, redesigned around warm light · Nikiti, Halkidiki

A summer house redesigned around one idea: everything floats. The bed, the wardrobes, the TV console, the bath cabinet and the outdoor kitchen lift off the floor and rest on a band of warm 2700 K light, so the rooms read larger and the floor stays clear for sand and a quick mop. One line language of oak, linear light and deck boards runs inside and out. The design went through two revisions with the owners, each shown in renders before anything was ordered.
